Was a good twist. For continuity I'm a little confused though. It showed Will fighting with Freddie. Why'd they have to do that if they were the only two involved? Was it to mislead the audience or did I miss something?
As well, even if Will didn't kill Freddie, he still killed that first guy in self defense? The sabertooth guy? Though it may have been Hannibal who posed him.
For laughs I like to wonder how Jack still has a job. How many people have died on his watch?

I suspect he only let her in on it out of necessity when she found the remains.
I suppose you could defend the scene by saying that he couldn't reason with her before subduing her due to her hysterics, but it's a stretch; at no point do they show Will trying to do anything to calm her.
Maybe it's just not in his nature to be anything but stoic?

Plus it is pretty clear that Will is disgusted by her as a person.

Another solid episode last night. Will and Hannibal's chess match/game of chicken clips another (deserving) bystander and we inch closer to the confrontation between Hannibal and Jack Crawford that we saw in the season premiere.
Embarrassed by how long it took me to recognize Jimmy from Boardwalk as Mason Verger, though it can be attributed to his great acting.
Season Finale next week. Can't wait.

I'm going to have to rewatch that, haha. Still a little confused. But initial feeling was it was great.
Sometimes they are talking so quietly, it's hard to get everything, especially with Hannibals accent.
Though, in a way, it's FORCES you to pay attention, and be engaged.

WTF?!?!
Not even Game of Thrones has committed to that type of destruction. Bravo to NBC for recognizing how this show needed to be done and allowing every inch of rope a network could give.
Loved every second of it, and can't wait to see where next season goes.

A good discussion with Brian Fuller about the end of season 2 and looking ahead to season 3 here.

What a fantastic season finale! You new that the people "in the know" about Hannibal were going to die, but the fashion they did it was extraordinary!
The only real surprise for me was
What a great, creepy, gory, intelligent show.

Damn it was hard to watch Will go down. Such a great character and Hugh Dancy was brilliant with it.The transformation of Lecter when "#### gets real" is really incredible. Mads Mikkelsen is a very gifted actor.
