Loubo thinks Smith is starting and figures Kylington draws in.

Guess I just missed the part where he had his "ups"?

Arizona has the worst SH% in the NHL. If Smith can't post a decent SV% against them, then we need to know and go get a backup who can. It also creates a chance for him to build some confidence.
Throwing Smith out there into the fire against a good team just because it's a B2B isn't the best way to get him playing competently.

Today is the start of Smith's 10 straight shutout streak, where he makes 262 saves in a row over those 10 games to allow him to bring his save percentage up to .930 and a tie with Rittich.
Also the Real Deal sees Laine's 5 goals and scores 6 to silence all the critics who think that the Flames signed their own version of Milan Lucic.

I think this is a perfect start for him. He should be motivated as hell to beat his old team. Really if he blows this game he is on his final strike.

Makes me think the Flames forgot their whites, or they got lost in transit.

Team usually only takes one color on the road.
Think one of Vegas or Coyotes made a request to the league to wear their aways at home and the Flames are wearing Homes on the road as a result.

Woo! We get to see Kylington! Man the skating from the back end is insane. Brodie, Hanifin, Valimaki/Kylington are just great skaters. Then in the very not that far behind is Gio,andersson and Hamonic. Dare I say maybe the best skating D corps in the league?

Smart D line pairings, Kylington needs to play with a veteran top 4 guy like Hamonic. Excited for him, pretty big opportunity to show his worth.

And we're better off keeping the game 5 on 5 becasue they have 10 shorthanded goals already in just 21 games.
In fact, they've scored more SH goals (10) than they have allowed PP goals (6)
That's an amazing stat!

Maybe the Flames asked to wear home jerseys on the trip where they have the most amount of fans on the road?

What makes you think the refs will call penalties on Arizona?

Excited to see Killington. Three rookie D playing well this year (getting ahead of myself) is remarkable. I was watching a couple games last night and thinking to myself that there really isn’t another roster in the NHL that I’m jealous of. I mean there are better teams, but I can’t think of one I’d trade our roster for.
