If we play even 80% as good as we did against Chicago we should win this game handedly.

Has anybody watched much of the ducks this season?
I'm curious to know what happened to them, they were the front runners as a stanley cup contender for this year.

But that's exactly how a frugal person does it. On the left cheek, save 30 minutes of tatty artist time on the 'O'.

Raymond actually complements Johhnys skillset quite well. If he would use his speed to gain the zone and then dish it off to Johnny he'd be doing more than Hudler.

IMO Hartley is sending a message. This is a pretty important season for Hudler with free agency approaching and it's kind of strange that he hasn't been as engaged as last season.

Say what you will about Raymond's falling down/puck sense etc. He's given more effort than Hudler this season IMO. Not much to show for it obviously.
If Colborne keeps up the decent play I'd like to see what a big body like his could do on the top line.

This reads like a healthy scratch for Hudler. Was practicing yesterday and looked fine. #Flames

Rob Vollman just did an AMA on reddit, he basically answered this question
Quote:
It's a puzzle! Three of the five forwards with the worst shooting percentage (minimum 1 goal) are on the Ducks!
Last year, the Ducks got all the breaks. Their underlying numbers were merely ok, but they had an almost unbelievable record in one-goal games. They actually had one of the worst goal differentials among playoff teams! This year, it seems like all the great luck from last year has turned into bad luck.
Unfortunately, the team did make a lot of inadvisable moves that were designed to get them "over the top", like that risky Ryan Kesler extension, and the acquisition of players like Chris Stewart and Kevin Bieksa. Unless you are a true Cup contender, moves like that that may make matters worse.
However, they do have great coaching, good youth and cap flexibility on the blue line, and no obvious weaknesses. They may come around yet.

With Hartley at the helm, I wouldn't be surprised to see Ferland play every minute Bieska plays. Let's hope he punches out his other tooth.

I do think we will end up seeing a Ferkland - Bieksa fight sometime early on in the game, or if it becomes a blowout. Remember Bieksa pretty much jumped Ferland, and the ref got in-between them just when Ferland got up and took off his gloves. I would say there is some unfinished business there.
Remember when TKO TKO'd Bieksa? Next game Bieksa just had to prove a point, and they fought right at the start of the game. Kind of expect it.
Would be great if it happened actually, as I think it would help set the tone for the game (as I think Ferland would KO Bieksa). Maybe that is what it takes to break this damn curse.

I doubt Bieska fights after getting his own teeth punched in a game or two ago.
