With Seanucks out I don't really have anyone to cheer against.
I guess I'm going to go with the Lions and their idiot coach. The Rams will prob blow them out but I hope it's a close game and Campbell blows it with a fake punt on a 4th and 10 on their own 20 yard line.

Looks like we're getting a classic cold weather game in Buffalo this weekend.

That actually feels like an advantage for Pittsburgh to me.
The more the game is played on the ground the more it equalizes the QB talent discrepancy.
Buffalo still had the better rushing game and defense this season...but it's the passing game where the real discrepancy between the two teams happens.
A James Cook vs Najee Harris game becomes more of a toss up...especially since if the Bills try to force the passing game in that weather still it could lead to mistakes. Allen has played well in cold weather for the most part but it's still a risk when it's windy

Oh yeah I'm not nearly as confident if that weather forecast is accurate. I'd like to hope that Brady doesn't Dorsey it and force passing.

Weather is a great equalizer in football. These games tend to be lower scoring with the difference usually coming down to a few big plays and/or mistakes. It was only a few years ago when the Pats beat the Bills in that snow bowl game with the Patriots only throwing two or three passes if I recall.

Two years ago on MNF. Harris had a long TD run and it was the difference. Weather or not though it would be on brand for Buffalo to lose this game at home when it's probably their best chance to get to at least the AFC title game.

Weather certainly helps the Steelers to a degree, primarily because it should keep the Rudolph pass attempts down. But this is still a massive mismatch, the Bills could play poorly and still win, like they did against the Dolphins in the playoffs last year. Even that New England game they still could have won it. The Bills have a huge margin for error here, the Steelers have arguably already lost their margin for error by not having Watt.

The artical was saying how wind that night was around 20 miles per hour with gusts to 35 but wore down later into the night. This is looking to be be a steady 25 with gusts to 50, and a lot colder base temperature.
Really if Allen doesn't heave a few down field, this might work in the Bill's favor. They easily handled the Cowboys on day where Allen threw 15 passes. The Bill's offensive line is superior to what the Steelers have, and if Rashul Douglas is hindered by injury, the Steelers won't be able to use Pickens or Diontae to try and expose it.
Low scoring games favor the underdog to cover, but I think Buffalo wins this like 17-9 type of thing. There will have to be a few turnovers or weird special teams stuff for this game to get over.

Gotta think that helps the Steelers, as it turns the game into basically a coin flip.

Just do the right thing, kick the Steelers out and give the Bills a bye.

Upset would be awesome, the thought of the Steelers giving Rudolph 4 years, $140 million is beyond hilarious.

One of the coldest games ever in KC, Buffalo might have some of the highest winds ever recorded for an NFL game.
Wildcard weekend gonna be wild.

In soccer they play in rain and snow but they cant play if the ball gets stuck in a puddle

Also why would they move it to Cleveland and not Detroit? If you're escaping weather why pass on a dome?

I heard some suggest moving Chiefs and Dolphins to Indy. If it's just cold, they could move the game along quicker snd it's on a streaming service so how long do you really need for commercial breaks. If each half is just over an hour that's better than a dragged out 3.5 hour event.
Buffalo with snow like that will be much trickier. It makes travel a lot harder. The wind would be bloody cold. Of all the years for Detroit to get a home playoff game. Anyone who goes to either of these games is s better fan than I am.

It's all Miami's fault for losing.
