Most players dive at least a little bit, I don't really judge players by how much they dive. Muller and Robben are probably my two favourite players because of their skills.
Even in hockey Giordano and Iginla are known for diving.

Both players have dived, but to suggest that they are "known for diving" is quite the exaggeration.

They've cut that to make it as bad as possible for Klose, but yeah, that's still a clear PK-worthy push in my books.

(Again, I don't blame the ref for not seeing that, it is what it is.)

I like Valbuena but his crosses have been horrible today.

Time for a Weihenstephaner Original Bayrisch Mild. Solid German lager. Good stuff

Pretty play by Germany, even though it was cut short.

I was expecting one of the games of the tournament between these two. Not so much. Germany almost seems to have parked the bus.

I call "parking the bus" when you play very deep in front of your goal. They're playing defensive, but more by controlling the midfield. Not that it makes for a more interesting game.

Well actually it's a bit more interesting, since they're at least trying to attack.

But not a lot.

I think the Germans are deliberately keeping the pace down here.

Much as I dislike the player, France could really have used a fighter like Ribery in this game.

No .. it's ... not. It's boring as hell.

And you claimed the Dutch to be the most boring team in the WC?

France being totally lifeless certainly has helped Germany today. Look at the US desperation when they needed a tying goal. France is just disinterested it seems.

Has France won a single ball in the last 10 minutes?

Semi-finals for the 4th time in a row.

Need a title to show for it though.

Not sure you can go 4 straight times and not get a title.
