Ramo gets the start?
Guess it's gonna be another night of "goals in bunches" against.

I can only assume you're saying this because you haven't been able to watch the games. Ramo was the only reason it wasn't 10-3 the other night in San Jose. He also got shelled in Washington. He should be better against a less offensive club like L.A.

The Flames finally get to benefit from a goaltender becoming a Vezina candidate against a Sutter coached team!

I may be in the minority but I think Ramo has been better than MacDonald. He's had the unfortunate task of playing Washington and San Jose, two of the best offensive teams in the league. Not to mention he's playing behind a defense made up of some players that would probably be more at home in the AHL. Tonight is a good chance to show his true colours against a team that doesn't have the offensive power of Washington and San Jose.

Save percentage of .857... you're right, the guy was a brick wall.

Lol I get people like the later start, I myself prefer 730 games. I'm up early so getting 4-5 hours of sleep isn't fun.

The entire team was outplayed that night, save percentages are bullpoop if a goalie has only played 120 minutes btw.

Sit Glencross, he needs a wake up call.

You're not alone, I totally agree. Ramo has had much better rebound control and has had the disadvantage of playing 2 of the strongest offensive teams and just terrible defensive support each game, which I hope doesn't turn into "McElhinney Syndrome". Hopefully Breen gets pencilled into a game on this road trip, in place of Butler.

Even strength save% of .925. He's face 2 more shots in his two games then MacDonald faced in his five games while the other team has the man advantage (also one more shot against while up a man).

I'll send you a signed Jeff Friesen puck if you get on Sportsnet with a "Go Flams Go" sign.
It's no Jason Weimer hat, but it's something.

Hope its more like the effort that the team showed in the 3rd period against the Sharks. Also hope Hartley has told them no more stupid penalty's as they cost us. GO FLAMES GO!!

Ramo makes some impressive saves. I just watched the San Jose game again & he's definitely a talented goalie. Unfortunately for him his stats line is horrifying and to the casual fan it won't be long before he starts becoming a scapegoat.
With a bit of discipline in front of him tonight we could see him earn his first win. I predict a tight game, high-energy & entertaining 2-1 OT loss though, Galiardi with the only Flames goal.
