Boston in 4 games is acceptable.

In Game 7, the Leafs will have three goal lead going into the third and will manage to seize defeat from the jaws of victory!!

I wouldn't have minded Toronto doing well this year, but it's too funny not to cheer for an embarrassing collapse against Boston, Game 7 double OT, they think there's a delayed penalty and pull the goalie only for Marchand to float the series winner in from center ice

Bruins have swept the Leafs in their 4 regular season games. Maybe the Leafs will finally win a game against the Bruins this season in this series.

Bruins in 5. And Matthews left to wallow with his 69-goal season! LOL

I hope the leafs win the first 3 and then watch the Bruins rip the hearts out of every Leafs fan, talking head, and Treliving to win game 7 in OT.
Eff the Leafs,

Is there a way both teams can go up 3-1 in this series and then lose it 4-3?

Well I hate the Leafs so obviously I want to see them lose. But seeing them lose should fascinating... last season everyone kept saying this was the year that regular season success no longer mattered and they had to go far in the playoffs and if they didn't, no one would accept it and there would be changes.
And then they got knocked out pretty easily in the 2nd round and nothing happened. So what happens this year?

I have a weird feeling the Leafs win this series in 6.

Kucherov or McDavid deserve MVP. Matthews, despite his possible 70, doesn't necessarily carry the team on his back through making others better. Really good player, but when you get past the flash, rarely does he carry the team on his back through making others better. Further, he's 35 points back from the league leader in points. There is little justification for him being MVP, when Kucherov and McDavid have carried their teams.

You could make an argument for Hellebuyck.

I think it should be Kuch, but I just saw on The Athletic that by defensive metrics, Matthews is in the top 5 forwards. To do that and score 70 goals is impressive, as much as I hate to admit it.
I still wouldn't have him in top 3 though.

Apart from changing GMs and a bunch of free agent signings.

Goalies should never win the Hart, because if they do there's a pretty good argument that they should always win the Hart. Who is more valuable to his team than the Vezina Trophy winner?

There is indeed a pretty good argument that they should always win the Hart by the strict intepretation of that award. Who has greater effect on success of a team?
Tell me who got there team to where it wound up more: Kucherov, Mackinnon or Hellebuyck?
Now the counterargument is that Hellebuuck only played 60 games, and Broissoit has a similar winning percentage. So maybe that team wins the same anyway.

The only scenario I want to see is Toronto going up 3 games to 1 and then losing in OT in game 7.
