Ras is still pretty young, I hope he doesn't get dragged into this. I think we've got enough strong leadership and experience around the team to stop that from happening.

They want to draw the Flames into some undisciplined play by going after Klingberg.

Flames smart to keep Rasmus away from media today, no need to fan the sparks because Dallas and Bowness are looking for anything to hold onto as far as motivation after a tepid game last night.

As for Tkachuk's words, he's not captain yet because this is legitimatly the first year where he actions speak louder(or as loud as) his words. Him maturing, the Sutter influence, and different leaders in the room/no Gio, have made that transformation into approaching captian material, but guys like Tanev and Gudbranson and Lucic have authority in the room, just not tenure, all of which matters to Sutter.

Yup.
Dallas showed absolutely nothing in game 1. They weren't offensive, they didn't hit hard, they didn't sacrifice bodies to make big shot blocks.
Their goalie played well and everyone else looked meh.
Klingon sees a chance to get his teammates amped up, that's all this is. Don't give it to them.
