I bought some packs and my top 2 lines are pretty good.

Gagne-Roy-Iggy
Elias-Legwand-Vrbata

My 3rd line is ok with guys in the 70's, line 4 blows, Zidlicky is the anchor on the back end, and my goalie plays for Grand Rapids. haha

Wow. So so good. I've played one hut game and destroyed some kid, just beat my buddy in a shootout. This game feels great.

I am not confident enough in my AHL goaltending to go online yet. I want atleast a backup NHL goalie. haha

Ya haha I just played online with my WHL goalie and he let in some stinkers meanwhile the other guy's German League goalie kept robbing me.. definitely looking to upgrade that position

In 2 games for me Derek Roy has 1G 5A and is a +6 meanwhile Jarome only has 1G albeit a game-winner. Luckily the tourney I am in has crap teams so my goalie does ok. He shutout Poland and let in 1 against the Saskatoon Blades.

Oh and if someone has like 10,000+ pucks, you can pick up Jarome Iginla or Jay Bouwmeester in the Auction House. I want Jay Bouw so bad but I have like 600 pucks, LOL!

Edit: And how much for Budaj?

Think I am going to save up and buy another Jumbo Pack and hope for the best. My first 2 were good, last 2 sucked.

so how do u earn these so called "pucks"? don't tell me you have to buy them using xbox live points..cuz i'm not willing to do that after dropping 80 dollars for the game, tax in.

I'm picking up the game after work but I would like some clarification. I briefly went through the Hockey Ultimate Team thing and it looked cool but I don't remember anything about buying packs and pucks? Are you using some in-game currency or XBox Live points? Also, is this mode an online only thing?

You can do both

peewee (6 cards, small chance of rare): 600 pucks
standard (12 cards, 1 rare, chance of 2nd rare): 2500 pucks or $.99
jumbo(24 cards, 4 rare, chance of 5th rare): 7500 pucks or $1.99
consumable(15 cards, 4 rare): 5000 pucks or $.99

Well i have a problem... game is telling me I need to update... system is telling me I have all current updates... Anyone have any ideas?

when i first got the game i went straight to HUT, and got a crap arse team (potulny my #1 player at 78). Went straight online and got my but kicked 3-1, 2-0. Went offline and am in the rookie tourny final, and have about 1500 pucks. (Note: i have cory schneider by am keeping him in collectors, to ramp up his contract (Now at 25 games or so) and ramp up his training hopefully.

"3 Justin 3" how are you already getting multiple jumbo-packs? Is it by offline play (if so what tourny's), or is it by spending real $?

The best part for me was going online and playing as the flames, and whooping 2 guys playing as the devils, but got up to 3-0 and they quit. Luckily, my record stands as 1-0 as DNF against counts as victories.

the jokinen/tanguay/iginla line are pretty wicked in the game.

We have it here at work. I played my friend at lunchtime and beat him 3-0 with the Flames over the Habs.

First goal of the new game scored by Hagman and the next two by Tanguay.

He demanded a rematch so I beat him 3-1 the next time with two goals from Iggy and one from Bourque.

No, one of the Euro ones and I faced Norway. It was terrible, every shot they took went in. I outshot them 35 to 12 and they won 7-2.

are u getting a lot of ur pucks from playing offline or from ur previous/existing MS points?
