Turning the shower off to use conditioner is the wildest statement in this thread yet. Is it a literal water closet so your choice is being waterboarded or dry, that’s it?
I turn the water off after I am done rinsing out the shampoo and don’t turn it back on until the final full body rinse. How is that wild? Conditioner isn’t going to run down your face into your eyes, unless you’ve got the hairline of Capt. Picard.
When I posted in this thread an hour ago it was so wholesome. I thought perhaps we’d have the opportunity to do as men do and discuss showering our naked bodies in a polite, but vaguely sensual way.
The lot of you have really ruined it.

Get wet.
Shampoo.
Rinse (cause shampoo in the eyes sucks).
Turn Shower off.
Conditioner.
Scrub everything else.
Shower back on.
Rinse.
Shower off.
Done!
That’s me except I wash my hair every two or three days. The shower goes if mid shower even in winter because I’m a water miser. I only shower at night; going to bed dirty and showering in the morning has never made sense to me. Plus, I want to be clean in all places in case my wife wants to go there.
Who else brushes their teeth in the shower? Judge away, but if I have to stand there for two minutes, I'd rather do it with hot water flowing over me.
I'm fine with it, but just seems like a hassle. Do you have a two toothbrush situation going on in your bathroom, or at night do you have to scamper into your shower, get your toothbrush, then scamper back into the shower to return your toothbrush so it's ready to rock in the morning?
Brushing teeth in the shower is the best. You can really go wild with you brush. One time I slipped and fell but the girls in the ER said it happens all the time.

No, but I shave in the shower. Mirror on the glass. Cream and brush. Smoothest shaves ever. And,no, I never turn the water off until I'm done. Too cold.

Somewhat related. One of the guy on my beer league hockey team will shave in the shower after our games so he doesn't need to shower or shave again in the morning (and save $$ by his logic).

Hard to argue with that logic.

There is no scenario where I will understand willfully shutting the water off mid shower. Am I alone in this being a novel idea I’ve learned for the first time now? Is this a common thing people do?
It’s so simple
Water on
Get in
Rinse totality of your body
Shampoo face and beard as necessary
Rinse shampoos out
Apply conditioner to your flowing locks
Wash body (including legs) with soap and a wash cloth, loofah, or goshi
Rinse conditioner out
Shut off shower
Towel mostly dry in shower because wtf bro keep the water in the shower
Lotion
Gross. So you just spit your used toothpaste all over your junk?
Are you saying your junk is so huge you can’t avoid it in the shower or that your shower is so small you can’t spit without it hitting your door stopper?
Either way I might recommend aiming away from your crotch and instead aiming literally anywhere else in the shower. A wild idea I know but give it a try
Those Liberals are all going to force us to have those shower buttons like the ones at the arena dressing rooms that you have to hit 12 times to keep the water running.
