Doetzel is familiar. He has played games for Stockton the past 2 seasons. McMurtry played for them last season.
Cliff Watson was invited to Flames training camp in 2017.

Just going by the stats, both goalies have been absolutely putrid so far.

Honestly, outside of a few minutes each game, the whole team has been putrid so far.

All I can get
Oliver Kylington with a hatty tonight. Lazar with a goal.
4-4 Heat vs. Ontario Reign with about 2 minutes to go.
5-4 Heat in OT. Tyler Graovac with the winner.
ANOTHER UPDATE: Last Kylington goal now awarded to Tyler Graovac.
Kylington with two. Graovac with two.

edit: Just realized this is the 2nd highlight package in as many nights where Lazar's goal is left out. Conspiracy theories?

They want everyone to get AHL live
I would definitely have got it but Valimaki and Dubé made the Flames, now I'm so set on getting it

Wow is the goaltending in the A ever looking bleak. Hopefully a small sample size anomaly... otherwise I see them grabbing a depth goalie prospect from another system.
Parsons is young and has some runway left but you've gotta think Gillies could be out of the organization if he doesn't show something this year... turning 25 this season and I think the Flames have to be petrified by the prospect of him and Rittich being the tandem if Smith goes down again. Was sure he was going to really be a strong pro prospect based on his run at Providence, I am somewhat surprised by how much he has struggled.
