The "Fricken" threads must've replaced the "I Like ..." threads. The standards have obviously been lowered. The player doesn't actually have to even do anything now to get "Fricken" as a middle name to impress the gallery.
Since this prospect is a long-term project, I personally would've preferred 'The Jankowski Files' or something cool like that.

I too, find optimism and silly excitment to be disgusting and crude. I for one would prefer more trade proposal Bouwmeester threads.

I don't think its a bad choice. After much thought, USHL is a place where he'd be easily a top 6/first line player. He'll get lots of playing time and won't get shoved into a checking role. He'll be allowed to make mistakes and to hone his skills while learning systems play. Throw him into the NCAA when he's not ready and he might be forced to be a role player.
Plus Dubuque seems to have produced some solid players lately so I'm sure he'll be fine going there.
Twitter to English translation: "If I was playing in the outfield, I would be catching the ball and stopping players from hitting home runs. You only live once."
Seems pretty weak to me.
"About to skydive with a pocket full of rabid hamsters and no underwear on, you only live once!" - Sure.
"Getting my scrotum waxed by a woman with really poor motor skills on a $50 bet. You only live once!" - Passable.
"Playing baseball how it's normally played! You only live once!" - What? No, that sucks.

Just in terms of guys that have passed through you have Gaudreau, Girgensons and I think Matheson pass by. They won the USHL title during Gaudreau's year. Just seems like some decent talent has passed through Dubuque the past two drafts.
Not too familiar with USHL, just have noticed Dubuque come up a few times reading about some prospects.

A bit early to call these 18y olds solid players, Dubuque hasn't really produced any players since Suter.
