Refs let the hook go because they missed the holding the stick on Gudbranson, and then missed a high stick. Hrudey doesn’t mention it, of course.

What's the Flames record for fastest goal to start a game?

Guy Chouinard, 7 seconds. 10/14/1982 vs. Detroit.

Kevin Lavallee 9 seconds

Doug Risebrough 9 seconds

Eric Vail, 10 seconds

Was watching the LA feed, but the commentary was pretty bad, so I switched to the Calgary feed. The cameras are so crisp in LA, and it looks like about 480p on the Sportsnet feed in comparison.
