It’s a testament to how good a season Romano is having when everyone is shocked that he blew a save.

Any of our other relievers has a bad inning and nobody bats an eye. Romano has been dynamite. No big deal.

Good series win and a nice cushion for the final couple weeks

Not only that, but beat the Guardians and it's the Yankees not the Astros waiting in the next round. Without a doubt the easier road to the CS. Silly playoff format, but it is what it is.

I didn't even realize that's what the format is. I figured if they finished 4th or 5th the winner would play the Yankees. You aren't really rewarding the first place team if the sixth place team happens to win.

I think re-seeding after the wildcard series makes more sense. Or even give the first place team their pick of who they play.

Turns out it was ball four and the steal attempt was all for not (can see Vladdy throw his bat at the start), but this is so hilarious and addicting to watch :

Yeah to have a playoff format like this and not reseed after round 1, it makes the 5th spot worse than the 6th.

So it looks like Canada is going to lift its vaccination requirement for entry into Canada on Sep 30... There goes the Jay's home field advantage!

How do you not love what Stripling has done this year. Guy is just steady.

Lots of first pitch strikes, mixes things up, works quickly, wins.

He's great.

Vlad's ability to do the splits while keeping one foot on the bag is underrated.

I have to think a blind folded Bryce Harper in a wheel chair would be a better defensive LF than Schwarber is.

Where would the club be without him?
