If we can't move up for Ekblad, I want Bratwurst guy! (No, not Ho Sang)

Button has three players going to teams their fathers used to play for (Reinhart, MacInnis, and Lemieux).

I originally had Leon a distant 4th but I want him more than I want Bennett now

Firmly in the Leon camp. Dr. Drei put up 105 points on a similar team as Monahan last year, which was mostly junk. Not as defensively aware as Monahan, but he screams of great offensive instincts with even more size.
I'd almost trade up to Buffalo's pick to get him, but we need those depth picks. Not really high on Reinhart as some are on here. Need a big boy at center who has a good shot. Reinhart has the higher IQ, but Leon isn't far behind. I think Reinhart's defensive game comes mostly naturally, but Draisaitle can be coached along into that. Seems like a good interview.
If not Ekblad, it's Leon for me. Don't want Brule 2.0 in Bennett, nor Reinhart.

The thing that comes across to me in that Ho Sang article is 0 accountability for him. There isn't even the acknowledgement that he has done anything wrong, that he has anything to work on or that him being ranked so low is anything other than a bunch of other people holding him back.
Even the top guys talk about improvements in their games and Ho Sang just talks about how it is everyone else's fault and he will be awesome/different in the NHL just because.
I am sure someone will take a chance on him because of the raw skil but his attitude seems like a guy that I hope the Flames take a big pass on.

Totally agree with everything you say (Edit: Except Sam being Brule and not wanting Reinhart, but respect your opinion) except trading up. Stand pat at 4 and "worst" case scenario is Leon is available there. If not, then either Sams or Ekblad (very unlikely) will be there, and that's just as good... and even better for a lot of people.
Also I don't care what anyone says, I think "The Deutschland Dangler" is an incredible nickname.

His rankings are based on his projections for their careers in relation to each other.
A mock draft is a mock draft. He's never done his rankings as a mock draft.

Where Button thinks these players will be drafted has nothing to do at all with his player rankings.

You're confusing a ranking and a mock. Two entirely different things.

Ha yes... but the point being made was Button sees the guy he projects Vancouver to take at #6 as mid 40's prospect. ie - not a good pick in that position by not a good organization.

That's too much to move up only two spots. I would take Horvat and #6 and take Ehlers or Ritchie with the pick.

Well, he's going way before 43 whether Vancouver picks him or not. He's one of the "big" names in the second/third tier.

Sorry, but to mock draft a #43 ranked player to #6 is beyond reaching.
What would you think if Button had Calgary take Michael Bunting with the 4th pick?
I think you would call him ######ed.

I'm sure a lot of people think it's ######ed that he has Virtanen at 43 in the first place. I don't see how he doesn't go top 10. Button has always been super low on him for some reason.
