Haven't racked up the mileage that some of you have this year, but this week I should pass 3000 km for the year. Commuting only, lots of rides home get extended though.
It's all about the extendo-rides to get those extra klicks in.

ALL ABOARD!
I gotta say, this thread is one of the few sanctuaries for positivity on CP these days. No arguing. No pissing matches. No trolling.
Just encouragement, sharing ride stories and helping people out with their bike questions. The only negativity I see on here is about headwinds.
It hurts my brain to go into any of the political or current event threads. I haven't ventured into the FOI forum in months. Even the threads about TV shows devolve into stupidity.
So, nice work everyone.

We don't get as much rain as other places but this is still a helpful video for managing moist roads. Whether you ride a road bike or not.
I've learned a bunch from the GCN videos. They're a good combination of casual rider instructional videos and
pro-level tips and tricks.

It was absolutely perfect. The moon, and the colours to the east were fantastic. Temperature was just right, and not very busy.

I have been fighting a cold all week - I was hoping to ride in yesterday and today - but no dice. I am now in a shame spiral.....

If you have any interest in bike building here's a video about building a custom hill climbing bike. They seem to make some non-conventional choices in parts and materials. It's also a fixed gear which, for hills, makes me frightened. Either way, it's a neat look at the process of a custom bike builder.

After four days of not riding I had to get back out there this morning and start burning off all that food from the weekend.

Should have gambled. I wore too many clothes today as well, didn't feel like -1 out there.
