If Chapman was defending that high hopper the runner would have been out.

Lets get a passed ball or something here. Jays could use a break like that.

Good out from Kikuchi.
Tough night at the dish.
Bullish on this team.

Welp...couldn't get a big hit or even an extra base hit. Played well other than that. Kikuchi had another very good start.
It's ok, they weren't going to win every game the rest of the way.

We leave the most men on base in the majors, right? There's no way anyone else can compete.

That was a depressing game. A great game from Kikuchi and they lost.

I think we all knew where this was going when the Jays had the bases loaded in the 3rd with one out and the 4-5 hitters coming up. The proceeded to both strikeout. It's depressing how predictable this team is.

This team needs to play fundamental baseball in the 9th but they don’t. Jansen should have been told to bunt the runner over from second with 2-0 count. He would have laid off the next two pitches that were low instead of swinging at them.

Now the Astros are winning 7-6 thanks to a Tucker grand slam. Of course the Os choke against them tonight.

Even if they had won this game tonight none of it would have mattered if we don't win vs the division.

This is the equivalent to the Oil losing in OT

I kind of agree but It's also a tough call as Jano has been the only clutch player the Jays have had this year. So I understand the logic of hoping he runs into one. I also think he did his job and that Varsho/Rivera respected Laureano's arm too much. That was deep to right field and Laureano's throw would've had to be absolutely perfect. Especially with the angle he was throwing from Varsho would've been in the way of the throw. Hindsight 20/20 of course.

I guess Mariners are doing it again this year where they struggle early on in the season and then go on a huge streak to get them back in the playoffs.
