You should be ready ahead of the whistle though… even if it didn’t blow. They can play it as soon as the whistle goes so you need to be ready before it

Yea, Canada needs to be ready….but if the ref says or points “on my whistle”, and then they take the free kick before the whistle, then the ref is an idiot.

But did that actually happen? Canada is going to protest if it is close.
Wheeler isn’t there, but he did say the whistle was raised. We have nothing saying she didn’t blow it unless they can sync up a video feed.

No I haven’t but I’m not putting my faith in Onesoccer’s audio and video feed being synced up 100% on my tv. I’ve had issues in the past with fubo.

My point is just that you have to be ready. Defensive set pieces were a talking point heading into this match. They got saved by a post in the first half so to not be drilled on is poor
