I have not one but two fireplace channels to choose from. In 4K no less. I much prefer the Laurentian fireplace on channel 10 though. It’s got better framing and they appear to be using birch. The Banff fireplace on Stingray channel 727 is way too zoomed in and they appear to be using softer lumber. Doesn’t burn as uniformly.

And if you really watch closely every once in a while a person with candy cane socks walks by. Presumably to add to the immersion that t watching from I don’t know the elves workshop maybe? Santa’s cabin? Maybe that’s Mrs Claus stoking the fire. Or maybe he’s having an affair with one of the elves. Or maybe Mrs. Claus is OK with it. Who am I to judge if they have an open marriage?

Anyone do that Aviasim flight sim thing near the airport. Want to take the kid as I don’t think he’s gonna be an academic and just maybe, might be cool too. Is it legit or kinda crappy like a golf sim? Saw it on instagram and curious about it.

Your assumptions of infidelity aside, is this new fireplace content they have filmed? And where is FPAG in all this?

Haven't been since the one time when the first one in town opened near me 30 years ago. Flabby suburbanites with 40L ketchups is not my crowd.

You must be getting a bit worried about shrinkflation. Another 6 months and you're at the intersection of being too big to get your hands into reduced size cheese ball bucket.

I’m duplicating a post I put in the home improvement thread since it’s a niche thread.

This is a bizarre question. Might be taking in a billet kid who’s previously billets want him out due to personal stuff. We have a developed basement but might be nice to add another room since my kid is in the other one down there.

Is there a contractor who could as soon as possible chuck up a wall, drywall, paint and door? I wouldn’t even know where to ask?

Don’t you need a window the right size for egress and a wired smoke detector in the room? You can’t just slap together a room and rent it out.

That’s pretty much what I tell people in this situation. You don’t have to do the code requirements if you don’t want…, pretty much to only time you’ll get in trouble is if someone dies. And then, a river of #### will hit a big ass fan

Jesus fataing Christ this place is the worst. The absolute worst. Kid needs some help and is moving in tomorrow. I want it to be nice, didn’t think of the bylaws because I’m actually helping and some total nerd comic book guy being a Jerk.

Take a look at everpanel temporary wall kits Fotze, maybe that could work for you without needing to actually construct a wall. Probably not airplane proof, not recommended for yeti occupation either.

Woah!! Thats not what you told me! You said you were hooking up all of the Cardio Workout equipment to your electrical panel and that the kid was going to be using the Bike and Treadmill to power your house on an exclusive diet of cheese sandwiches and Mountain Dew!
