The more I think about this, the more I'm starting to think that the Panthers will win back at home. I can't help but feel like this was supposed to happen to increase revenues, and Florida wins back in their home rink. Call me crazy but I seriously feel this is true.

Tkachuk losing back to back finals with a sweep and an 0-3 collapse does have some silver lining qualities to it…

Meh, hope the Oilers lose. If they win, kinda sucks but I seem to care less as I get older with many other priorities in life. 18 year old Keenan87 would be freaking out right now.

Tkachuk wouldn't be in this predicament if he stayed in Calgary. Just saying

They aren't winning scoring 1 or 2 goals either though. They need to score first and put the foot on the gas. They have been chasing for 3 games now.

You suck Panthers. Suck so much.

Interesting. So even just forcing a game 7 hasn’t happened since Hitler was alive. Lolllll. What else can you do but laugh, at the end of the day it doesn’t matter. Congrats to the Oilers.

It sucks being a Flames fan currently, but at least this franchise hasn’t soiled itself at the level the Panthers are. This type of choke could destroy that franchise.

Yep, same theory that was being floated after the debacle in game 4… no way, they are done

Whatever. It just sounds like sour grapes at this point. Dallas quit? Convenient for Edmonton, I guess.
I agree with #### them, though. That's my feeling as well. I'm just objective enough to not have to make up a narrative about why they are one win away from a cup.

You are right because he would have been out of the playoffs already against any team not named LA. The Flames used to struggle with Nashville so I'm not even sure they could beat them in 7.

Can anybody recommend an objective media source for post-game analysis/game summary articles, that actually focuses on both teams and gets quotes from both teams and is honest? Serious question...
Struggling to find something that isn't go oilers, go canada, the 2024 oilers are the greatest team ever....
I won't watch the games as I get unhealthily angry, but would like to know what actually happened in the game on both sides after- not just what the oilers did in the game and how good McDiver is and how blessed we all are to watch him.
Nhl.com doesn't have a lot of honest game analysis.
I'm assuming it would have be a US media source as most Canadian media (maybe not vancouver) is pro-oilers.

Haha was only a week ago when I was wondering if Chucky and Sam might give the Flames some props after hoisting the cup.

If there are any betting men in this forum, you'd be a fool not to bet a ton of money on the Panthers for the next game.

I admire your optimism, but the Panthers are cooked. That's a broken team over there. No heart, no effort, no nothing. They look completely shell-shocked.

I refuse to believe this. You don't just forget how to play hockey. Especially after going to the finals last year.
