It is possible, if you have a US domiciled bank account (eg RBC US domiciled works) to get a native US paypal account (you also need a US address) but it's not free to get the money from your Canadian paypal account to your US paypal account, although I don't recall the amount of those fees any more. (I have both US and Canadian Paypal now, and am careful to take payment in the one for each currency).
Could you just transfer to a WISE USD and covert to CAD there for lowest fees? (Assuming you want CAD)

You could, but that isn't the lowest fee possibility.

I do the following:

USD paypal to US domiciled bank account.

Transfer to Interactive Brokers

Convert to CAD

Withdraw from Interactive Brokers to CAD bank account.

That works out to about 0.57% cheaper than using Wise. It's more complicated though, so YMMV.

I considered this, but for the hassle I just converted to CAD in Paypal, and while it said it'll take 5 business days, money is in my account today.

Your life is sad when you get excited about the cart that doesn’t have 4 square wheels at Superstore.

Any recommendations for custom t shirts/long sleeve in Calgary with a storefront rather than the ones where you upload it and design it yourself and then get it shipped? I'm picky with the shirts and would prefer not to chance it with pictures of shirts that you can use on those online stores.

Yeah, at an industrial scale in China.

IDK, but you're tall, right? You ever buy Denver Hayes "tall" shirts from Mark's? They're so awesome for tall people. Quality is the best for a t-shirt (both long and short), they're super cheap and it's so nice not swimming in a too-big shirt just to get the length you need. Would be perfect if you could put your logo or message on one of those versus buying whatever the printer will have.

There's plenty of brick and mortar locations in Calgary that do this. I believe even London Drugs does this? Or are you worried about the t shirt quality or final print quality or something?

I'm not sure if you're hoping to print, embroider, silk screen, vinyl etc. a shirt which is a huge difference too.

Others might think it's just something on surface of fabric, but printing isn't always straight forward. I remember going through a printed scrapbook with the wife for a gift she was making for the parents/inlaws, and seeing the matte vs gloss vs paper quality vs print quality difference was pretty jarring.

I could imagine that a difference in t-shirt and printing style could create a totally different look etc.

If you're doing embroidering, bc-chris is worth reaching out to. He's not in Calgary, but I don't think it's too hard to organize some kind of reasonable pick up from Kelowna. Canada post prepaid boxes aren't too expensive either for a few t shirts assuming they don't strike again. I've had him do some embroidery and he's nothing short of awesome. Quality very good (assuming provided instructions and requests aren't bad/unreasonable), but also walking me through different fabric/baseball cap options, plus pros and cons beyond basic cost differences, and alternatives in design if there's a risk it could end up looking a little funky.

Not to carry over the Costco conversation, but I find the Kirkland tees pretty great quality and fit wise for a tall person.

To be serious though, that’s actually smaller than I would have thought. Even online ordering (I know Jayswin didn’t want that) also only goes up to 2XL.
