I generally don't get jealous of cool things that politicians get to do and experience because overall I think that the job is pretty unappealing but seeing Minister Champagne down at NASA this morning is so cool. I'm not a huge space nerd but that stuff does really interest me and I love the Johnson Space Center.
I took my kid's down for the 50th anniversary of the moon landing and we were lucky to be one of the first tours to go through the freshly renovated Mission Control and see the landing presentation. That was also the day that Chris Kraft died so it was a pretty somber day going through the building named for him and seeing Mission Control with flowers at his console.

Yeah, that's an old criticism, but I feel that the chances have finally run out and there is this sense of weariness.

Pearson and Clark look like they'd be headlining a country concert at the Calgary Stampede, not thrashing out to metal.
Meanwhile MacKenzie-King is ready for a night at the Opera.

100%
The budget arguably did as much or more than my industry was asking for. Except firm CCUS itc, but they did commit to it again.
It's the lack of follow through... they've committed to a CCUS ITC since 2021, but still no details on it? The H2 ITC is pretty much a copy of Q45, so why not?
Keep promising canadian energy products in global markets, taking trips to... Europe?! How the hell are we getting anything to Europe? Through the Gulf??!

Paul Martin really wants to tell you about the lift and gun rack he put on his RAM 1500.
John Diefenbaker looks like the love-child of Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong and one of the Koopa Kids.

Holy ####, this has been driving me nuts lately.
I got an email last week from CBSA about my CARM account. WTF are both of those? I refuse to google it and I know somebody on here will know, but don't tell me. #### off with that stupidity. Is it for me personally? One of my businesses? If one of my businesses, which one? Like, is it that hard to at least type out the non-acronym name of whatever the #### this is?
Here's the whole email:
English version *** La version française suit ***
There is new notification(s) from CBSA in your CARM Client Portal Account which may require your attention. To view your notification(s), log into your account.
This is an automated email system. Please do not reply to this message.

Il s'agit d'un système de courrier électronique automatisé. Veuillez ne pas répondre à ce message. I mean, I'm pretty sure it's business related, but why wouldn't they even have a signature at the end of the email offering some clarity? Sign off as, "Government of Canada Business Tax Division" or something. And pull in my business name that it affects so I at least have a starting point to figure out what you want from me. Thanks for assigning me the task of deciphering your acronyms and to whom you need to reach just to try to figure out something that " may" require my attention.
Okay, now I'm going to figure it out, but last week I was too annoyed with it to do anything about it.

Either that or Paul is stunned that you didn't care to hear about said lift and gun rack.

What is that nightmare fuel behind Diefenbaker? If that's a painting it's 90% empty with some sort of ghost clown zombie in the corner. But it could also be a mirror or even a window...
