Vlad Jr. still flirting with the triple crown right now.
3rd in HR, 4th in RBI, tied for first in BA.
1st in OPS though.

Marcus Semien vs Brooks Kriske
#WeAreBlueJays
Home Run 💣
Exit velo: 95.1 mph
Launch angle: 42 deg
Proj. distance: 336 ft
This would have been a home run in 5/30 MLB ballparks

The Jays hit 3 wall scrapers today and I loved it. They can hit bombs with the best of them but it was fun to see them out Yankee the Yanks.

Sounds like Ryu came out after 80 pitches because of some forearm tightness.
Quote:
But back in the dugout, Ryu told Montoyo and his pitching coach, Pete Walker, that he was experiencing forearm tightness after throwing a series of sliders, a pitch he doesn’t typically use, throughout his outing. And that was the end of that. Ryu exited the game, while Montoyo turned to Trevor Richards, Tim Mayza, and Adam Cimber, who recorded the final nine outs with little trouble.

I heard that Springer head to head against Cole is awful (though I'm not sure many have good match-ups with a guy like Cole), so hopefully that factored into the decision to give him a day off.

Woah. That's interesting about Dickerson. He can really work the count so hopefully he can chew up some pitches and let the other guys get a good look at Cole.

Hopefully he jumps on a pitch and takes advantage of the short RF fence.
If the Jays can manage to beat Cole today I will believe anything is possible.
