Definitely gotta come out stronger for the second, however.

Yeah too many wasted chances that period. I wouldn't mind seeing them tighten up defensively. They controlled the first 8 periods of the series by playing "boring" hockey. Not that they can't keep up with the Tigers in a run and gun type game but the can frustrate the hell out of the Tigers by playing good defensive hockey.

On the bright side, they've done a good job of taking momentum away from the Tigers after that. I'm actually surprised Medicine Hat couldn't follow up with more than one chance. Slowing the game down, exactly what we need to do. But we gotta score on this too many men penalty...
Nope, another brutal PP. And it's only a matter of time before Medicine Hat gets their chances.

Huge, huge goal. God did we need that after failing on the powerplays. And two great shifts to follow it up. We're slowly taking control of the game, but I think we're going to need a bit more breathing room.

Nyren has gotten progressively worse as the season went on. He's scored some big goals, but he's easily hurt us just as much.
And amazing save by Jones, but another penalty coming. Ugh. Lucky that Medicine Hat's five on three is broken apart by the intermission.
