YUM! Kind of like a cross between Brody Jenner and Mark Tewksbury!

The male gymnasts are awesome, but I have to pretend they're not 5' 5" (being 5' 9" myself).

For my Canadian pick, I'd like to choose someone else I've had the luck of meeting in person. He's been on Instant Star, and is currently finishing touring in the Broadway show Spring Awakening in which he's starring as Melchior. The simply adorable Kyle Riabko.

He also has some really funny videos up on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/user/kyleriabko

My favourite of which has to be this one.

FFR's hot gymnast reminded me of another gymnast. My sister and I were drooling over this guy in the 2004 summer olympics - Russian gymnast Alexi Nemov. So I guess it's the Athlete category, unless we'll let a Russian born guy slide into my European born category??

I would like to move Alexandre Despatie to the Canadian category.

Starseed's '18 reasons I bat for the other team' selects:

Andy Roddick for the category of Athlete.

I am shocked he was not yet picked.

Wiki states that Russia is a country extending over much of northern Eurasia (Europe and Asia together)

So I would be OK with you moving him over if you need to.

Okay, Team BOOKWORM selects in the RIP category:

Gene Kelly. Sings, dances - and was quite the catch in his day:

Team "Thank God, I'm a Woman" will select in the category of Childhood Crush, the delightful smart ass Jonathan Taylor Thomas.

I can distinctly remember buying all the Teenbeat, Tigerbeat, Bop and Big Bopper magazines so that I could plaster the newest pics of JTT in a cool vest or button up shirt on my wall. Pics like this...

Looking for pics of him was such a trip. For some of this pics, I not only remembered them, but could tell you specifically where they were on the wall in my bedroom.

He was hugely popular at my school. The girls loved him and the boys hated him. He put it all on hold though, so that he could get an education. He attented Harvard and Columbia apparently. He has done acting since graduating, but really only minor stuff here and there.

Being a gangsta of sorts, it seems...

I actually think he's cuter now than when I actually liked him... this is him around 2008, as per the blog that I found it in... (him with a fan)

I nearly peed my pants when I saw him on Veronica Mars...

Honestly - I am not sure he's aged at all, really. He still looks so little and young.

I was totally considering JTT (woah, major elementary school flashback there!) for my childhood crush too! He was always so cute, and apparently still is! Definitely the only reason I watched Home Improvement, haha.

I totally had that JTT Milk ad on my wall growing up.

I will also pick in the Childhood Crush category. I take Fred Savage. I loved the Wonder Years

I think he's grown-up ok. Still looks nice. He's directing and producing more these days than acting.

I loved his brother, Ben on whatever that show was on TGIF (sorry the name has slipped my mind)... with Topanga and the other cute guy...

I'll stop now. This is a generally useless post.

^^ Boy Meets World. I loved Ben Savage as well.

As for the JTT pick, very nice. He was going to be my childhood crush pick. Guess I'll have to fall back on my number 2 pick.

I was trying to find a Barely Legal contender, but I got frustrated looking, so hopping on the Childhood Crush category bandwagon, my pick is Rick "Ricky" Schroeder. God, I used to love watching Silver Spoons!

I had quite a few options in the childhood crush category, but for me, he was the only one that I thought actually was still cute. The other options that I remembered, I looked up and thought I just must have been on something to have thought they were cute.

I liked Fred Savage too, actually, but he wasn't a crush of mine. I wanted to be his friend.

Ricky Schroeder is definitely still cute. I liked him on NYPD Blue (I think that was the show he joined and then left rather quickly)

He did a stint on 24 in 2007 as well. He's OK all grown up now, but has a pock-marked face which doesn't do him justice.
