He's got them playing hard for him every down, I thought he handled the Haynesworth situation with great class and for a team that wasen't suppose to do much, the Titans look like there going to be a contender come next year.
Peyton had a costly pick at the end of the half, if he doesen't throw that it's 14-3 or maybe even more for Indy.

How many years have the Titans been in Salary cap purgatory? Rumours early in the year was that Fisher was gone at the end of the year. That may be but he should get another job very quickly; he's done a great job.

I think it will take Vince young a lot longer than that if he ever is good enough to be the QB of a contender. People seemed enamoured with his big plays that they forget how he actually played throughout the game. Case in point he was pretty weak in that first half but because of a Peyton Manning mistake the game is close and people will say Vince played well.
But Fisher is a great coach. His teams have sucked the past few years but they always play hard and seem to get a few more wins than they should. Last year that meant they actually won a few games with the talent level to hae gone 0-16.

The Cardinals are going to beat the Rams
The Lions are going to beat the Pats
And Oakland can a least be somewhat proud of there Defense
The Packers will be moving in the right direction when they let go of Favre

It's time for Childress to give Tavaris Jackson the start next week. It's obvious Brad Johnson's career is over, no matter what Brad might think. Every week it's the same deal, with the defence playing outstanding and the offence doing nothing to help the team. The playoffs are still a slight possibility in the weak NFC for the Vikings, but it's time to look to the future and let Jackson show what he can do.

I'm just wondering why you are so excited about the Jets beating the Packers if you think so little of them.

Yeah, that's going to absolutely kill me in the pick em.
I went big on them figuring most wouldn't.
I picked the Titans, but didn't have the stones to put any points on it.

First off, props to the Tians. Fisher did a great job today, Young is going to be something special.
As for Indy, what an absolute joke of a game. Harrison drops two balls right off the bat, one of them for an INT. Peyton throws a pick with only 40 seconds left up 14-3, Hartstock pushing off in the endzone so instead of 3rd and 1 on the titans goaline it's 2 and goal on the titans 11. About a billion false start penaltys, and just a horrible game.
Not that it would've got the Colts the win by any means, but how the hell was that not excessive celebration after that FG? My god there was a delay in the game because they were celebrating on the field, tackling the kicker for at least a minute. They give them that penalty, the Titans squib kick probablly lands somewhere around midfield or close too, and the Colts at least get a hail mary chance. However no sour grapes here, it probablly wouldn't have mattered one bit. Props to the Titans, great game

Well the Cardinals must be better then
Great call about the Lions
Green Bay still has double the wins of the Raiders and Lions, and more then the Cardinals. They've got the youngest team in football, a really good core to build around. There LB's are very strong, Barnett and Hawk are both going to be pro bowl LB's, there defense has improved big time from last year, Jennings and Driver make up a very good 1,2 WR combo, Green has struggled behind a young injured O-Line but still has shown he can rush for 100 yards.
To call them worse then the Lions or Raiders is a joke

I think he certainly is in the bottom of the league of starting QB's.
But Green bay isn't winning anyhting this year and Packer fans seem fine with him playing so I don't see why they should get rid of him. I think it is harder to see a guy like Favre fall like this and thus people tend to overstate how bad he has been.
He has a some bad games but he isn't awful...yet.
