is taking some gargantuan leaps in logic.
Please exercise more thought than this.
Canada's sovereignty isn't at stake in these games (reminder that it's a game, in case we forgot that part). Sure, eff the states right now, but that doesn't mean eff all americans by association. A lot of them didn't want what's going on.

Harsh. He was born in the US and lived in Calgary as a kid for three or four years. Played junior in the Development Program, and on to US college hockey. Other than his Canadian father, he's pretty American.

Up front, the guy I’ve been the least impressed with is Reinhart. Been playing consistently with McKinnon, Crosby or McDavid and has not had much for scoring chances.
The goaltending is still their biggest weakness. Can’t be giving up bad goals so frequently in a short tournament like this.

I haven’t read anything in this thread, but just came here to say, Huberdeau would be magic with McDavid and a shooter. He would hit McDavid in the neutral zone constantly. Transition game would see a big boost.

Binnington let in the softy for he 1-1 goal, but our defense was the reason we couldn't climb back into the game.
Our breakouts are freaking awful.
Felt like we couldn't get out from our zone on the left side for the entire second period.
Also our transition was pretty laughable tonight.

I will say in terms of Canadian unity it is really, really refreshing to watch post game sportsnet knowing we are all against the US and that Ivanka, Ken and the oilers goon’s comments are all on the same side regardless of oilers or flames affiliation.
I dropped a trump comment earlier , but I now agree let’s just stick to beating meathead Brady, dbag Miller and the rest of their smug team USA NCAA boys club love-in.

I hate Trump and his nonsense as much as any Canadian. I just can't stand this kind of hate speech rhetoric. It's a bad look. It's not their fault the orange baboon is in charge. I don't see why we need to stoop to the level of taking out our anger and frustrations on them. Unless you can prove they support Trump keep the politics (specifically hate speech) out of sports.
