Flames ultra passive system doesn't do well against teams with lots of skill. We give them way too much time and they burn us. Multiple times the Flames had board battles behind the Leafs net and refused to commit a third forward. They were always out manned and lost the puck almost every time.

What are you talking about...

The problem was they were too aggressive tonight, leading to a few odd man rushes and dumb penalties...leading to PP goals because of a terrible PK.

They battled hard and won a #### ton of board battles. They just couldn't bury their chances, but the Leafs did.

This game was about differences in pure talent and a few key mistakes. The flames certainly were not "passive" tonight, much to their detriment.
