They're still not making the playoffs.
Edmonton = no good.

They apparently give a plunger for defensive player of the game, for getting the team out of sticky situations. The artist cap and brush is for offensive player, for painting their masterpiece on the ice. Those are direct quotes FYI.

That's absolutely embarrassing. Checks out for that franchise.

So is the league mandating that teams start their crappy back-up goaltenders whenever they play the Oilers? Because it seems to happen a little too frequently.

C'mon Oilers, you know you want to trade your 1st for a UFA at the deadline.

Seven points out of a wildcard spot now, but just six above last place.

I think the Oilers may be a little bit pretentious.

They were 8 pts out when Woodcroft was canned on Nov 12th. Almost a month later and they have made up 1 point. Really closing that gap

Yet I saw an article saying they are firmly back into the playoff race.
I mean, sure there's lots of time left but... no, it isn't going to happen.

If anyone can fire more than one head coach in a season, the Oilers can.

Still locked - in the lower part of the standings still out of playoff hunt. Sharks might even catch them!

The Sharks resurgence is a better story than the Oilers, quite frankly. They've barely gained ground on that team in the same amount of time.
