Is there a Calgary riding with any meaningful vote numbers yet?

But allowing a truly private sector to form in areas we are severely lacking could help wait times much quicker than a bunch of government money fumbling its way through AHS. Opening a private sector costs zero tax dollars and actually would bring more in.
These are literally 2 examples of things you could book and pay for right now. There are even companies that will come to your home and do it.

Watching all these news people try and stall with political filler is painful.

I'd wager at least 20-30% would pay up. Plus for people whose medical needs are more urgent, you have an option available to you for nearly immediate results.

Global saying the NDP didn’t do as well as they wanted to if they were to win. And then add the caveat that most of the ridings don’t have enough votes to matter. This is so annoying.

They get educated locally or they move in from elsewhere. If you allow other companies other than DynaLife etc to come into the province do you not think they have professionals to come in?

If Dynalife had to compete with the government operated services or other lab system players then that would create positive pressures on quality, price and service.

That isn’t what happened though.

But I agree once you go private you need competition.

From where? They’d be competing against the public sector for employees and would need to pay more to poach them. I don’t think there is viable business case when there is a public sector option to compete with that greatly reduce wait times in the public sector. You can book private ct scans but wait times are still long in Alberta.

At this rate the CBC election show should just cut away for a regular newscast for a half hour. I want to see the sports scores.
