But implementing a PST to essentially make up the shortfall from our current inexplicably low corporate tax rate makes no sense.

It doesn't matter who leads the party, the UCP will win easily. The Calgary and Edmonton suburbs are too conservative and the Anti Trudeau, anti NDP fear mongering has too much purchase there. The UCP will win as the lesser of three evils party.

Your comment had a double negative so reads as reasonable.

I don't know about that. The lemmings here would destroy us.

Maybe Calgary. for Provincial politics, Edmonton has been NDP for while now.
no matter who wins the leadership of UCP, Edmonton will stay far away from them.
It's all up to Calgary, and I don't trust Calgary to do the right thing, especially will O&G doing well.
Look at some of the UCP losers Calgary voted for last time.
If the UCP wins, C=NG.

"isn't and never was" is not a double negative, it is a conjunction and the word "reasonable" was correct in this instance.

It should be legal to hunt such a beast without need of a permit.

No need for a permit as long as you can pull off an accurate shot from a charter flight to the US. In that case, you can just invoke your diplomatic immunity.

Anything that you can identify as a conservative church, is not moderate. When politics gets religion, it's a bad scene. When religion gets political, hide in a bunker in the mountains.
