Felix breaks Evans and Evans breaks a racket.

That drop shot was a bail out by Evans - Total domination by FAA

This is unfair.

You wonder how Evans won matches to get here.

I turned the TV on at 5/4 in the first set, so I only saw Evans win 2 games.

The British supporters were rowdy at the start of the match and Felix shut them down in short order. That is the best tennis I've ever seen Felix play. 6-4 6-1 6-1

Felix will next play the winner of Rublev vs. Cilic - I'm hoping that's a 5 hour 5 set marathon.

Meanwhile after coming up 2nd best in set 1 6-4, Taro Daniel is now flirting with feeding Sinner a bagel in set 2.

Wow. 6-1 Daniel for set 2. Stunning bounce back as he feeds Sinner one of these.

Yeah. So much so that Dan Evans said: 'Yeah, I'll have a second helping, mate!'

Karl, I don't recall Taro Daniel cranking out 207 km/hr serves.

Yeah, me neither.

He must've beefed up that serve somehow last year. Best I remember him cracking them at is around maybe 197 or 198 with very few exceptions.

That's it for me, I gotta hit the hay. Looks like Sinner has righted the ship.

Felix will indeed play Cilic as he upset Rublev in four sets. If Felix can replicate the level he was at against Evans, FAA will book himself a place in the quarter-finals.

Thinking about the Zverev - Shapo match tonight and if Shapo can return serves like he did against Opelka, I think he has a good chance to advance. I just hope he can keep his emotions in check, there was a moment in the 3rd set against Opelka a couple of nights ago where he was on the edge and getting frustrated, but he settled down and continued to play some excellent tennis. I hope he targets the Zverev forehand, not that it's a bad stroke, but the Zverev backhand is deadly.

Go Denis Go!

This doubles match on MCA is taking forever. If it goes to a 3rd set Denis is going to be late. There's a women's match in between too.

Edit: yeah it's over!
