No idea if the cancer is what got her, but I do know she was diagnosed so I'm making a leap of logic.

Not a huge leap, obviously, but I am surprised sometimes when Celebrities who have access to some of the best medical care available pass on so young.
But there are some things that just happen.

Yeah, we met her back during the Last of Us game release. Super nice. Life/cancer doesn't care about youth or fairness or medical care.

Man, Annie Wersching passing is shocking. I first saw her as Renee in 24, but then I noticed her popping up all over the place, including a chilling role in Castle as a serial killer, and then in both Bosch and the Rookie.
Hell, she was in Frasier.

She was consistently good in whatever she did.
I had no idea she was sick, wonder if that's why she didn't reprise her role in The Last of Us

That it does not.
She was a hell of a Borg Queen.
RIP Annie.

She was so good as a serial killer on the Rookie, she was actually really good in everything she did.
I was a big fan of her work.
RIP

If you hit 100 then you beat the game, no points since you subtract from 100.
Had to remove Norman Lear, the guy is a champ.

I also wondered when the casting was announced why Wersching wasn't playing Tess.
A role like Ellie obviously couldn't be fulfilled by the original actress—there was no way 39-year-old Ashley Johnson was going to play a 14-year-old—and I knew roles like Joel, Tommy and David would almost certainly be recast (although I would have liked to have seen what Nolan North could have done). While they did get Merle Dandridge to reprise her role as Marlene, I thought there were two other roles which the original actors could have believably reprised: W. Earl Brown as Bill, and Annie Wersching as Tess.
The only reasons I thought the producers may hesitate to do so were: 1) Brown I thought may have been a little too old, as he was already about 50 when the first game came out, and 2) Wersching may have been a little too young and too pretty.
Definitely too young to be gone. #### cancer.

Cindy Williams has passed away at 75. Believe that leaves only Michael McKean for the core Laverne and Shirley cast

Barrett Strong, Motown's first hitmaker "Money, (That's What I Want)." Went on to be a prolific songriter/lyricist being many of the label's hits.

Are you serious? If so this is officially the most excited I’ve ever been for an upcoming movie.
