I still don’t understand why the Flames didn’t pick him up for free on waivers. He helped Dallas get to the finals, he’s got a Cup, history of winning and producing in the playoffs, 4 points in this series so far as a role player, he took Tavares out of the playoffs albeit by accident. But he’s got his fingerprints all over this series and we chose to keep Joakim Nordstrom, Dominic Simon and Brett Ritchie over him? I just don’t get it.

Is it ever. It looked suspect at the time, despite a weak draft, but it's looking pretty awful now. I guess we can't predict the future but even an injured Foligno I wouldn't think would play this lacklustre. Pretty bad.

I mean with the effort the Leafs have put in tonight you'd think they are losing intentionally so they don't have to be the team Colorado annihilates in the semis. Preseason levels of intensity and effort.
