I dunno he didn't come back in the game. I think he was selling it, but I also think he was hurt a little too. May have caught him in a bad spot.

I also have no idea which leg had the surgery, but it may have tweaked something for him.

I find it hard to believe he faked an injury for an entire year
Was his actual hip surgery also embellished?

That’s a helluva PP with loads of options and high end execution.

Give TB a lot of credit.
I don't disagree, it's a helluva PP. Probably the most textbook-perfect PP setup outside of Washington most years, and maybe more dangerous due to Stamkos as a threat at the other side.

I just think, somehow though, you gotta make someone else beat you, just not Kucherov. He's absolutely surgical.

Getting whacked on the back of the knee hurts like hell and can put you down
Anyone that doubts that just ask your wife to give you a one armed whack on that spot and see if you go down

They take away his shot , he beats them with pass to Killorn, Point or Stamkos.

Special players and, subsequently, unbeatable PP.

Is there really no solution other than a goalie going full Hasek?

I'm trying to remember how the CBJ played the PK back in 2019, they managed to shut the Lightning PP down that year.

Play tighter to Kucherov and take your chances.

Very skilled group.

So, which Florida goalie do you start for game 6? Both goalies have had their ups and downs.

For me it's Bob because he didn't do anything wrong at all today, just didn't get any help defensively. He has the experience to win in the playoffs. The rest of the team needs to up their game and help him. No other choice really.

Talent level of both teams is vastly superior to the Flames , but agree Florida was the better team today. Vasy won this game in the first 2 periods for Tampa.

I think the NHL should investigate Tampa for cap circumvention. If I was Florida or their fans I'd be pissed right off.

Don’t think there is much they can do. He had surgery, they just timed it conveniently

Great, now Hornqvist gets a retaliation call as he was slammed into the crossbar again. I don't blame him for fighting back. Just getting abused out there.

Edit: on the replay Cernak sells that HARD. Embarrassing dive.

And this is what happens when you start playing dirty, the other team is going to give you dirt back. Duclair just whacked Kucherov's knee at the back.
Usually you have great commentary but how many times does Hornquist get to chop the goalie in the chest or hand? He had 3 whacks on that shift alone, and Sergachev had him by the chest and threw him down.

If that goalie has a Lightning Bolt across his chest then there is no limit.

I've leafed through the NHL Rulebook and havent seen that particular one, but I'm assured that its in there somewhere.

Swing away son....swing away...

Agreed, it will be a huge issue going forward with teams placing all sorts of players on the LTIR especially with a flat cap

Only to have them perfectly healthy for the 1st game of the playoffs

Its a loophole, no clue how they fix it
