My Xbox was in Louisville and is now walking in Memphis. Maybe traveling tonight?

I'm wondering if they're just moving mass quantities around their distribution network and treating the shipments like that vs one off packages (hence the lack of scans). In my experience Memphis usually means that it's waiting for custom clearance and the destination distribution port. If I had to guess I'd say we'll see an update this evening with the scan being Calgary. FedEx has typically been good with shipments.

I'd say if I had to do this all over again I'd order from Best Buy. I did my PS4 and XBox One from there and I got them both on launch date. The console was packaged well and the communication was great. This time around....oh boy. Unless Amazon is going to do some sort of magical "surprise we've just updated your order and shipped everything" I will have to consider other options.

To be honest, I don't care when I get it. I just want updates really. That's all.

Best buy finally sent me notice that my Xbox had shipped. Estimated delivery date is November 20th in Calgary.

Didn't expect it to be that long.

That should get updated, my Expandable memory initially said Nov 20 and was updated to November 13 shortly after.

It seemed a little silly but I ended up sealing it back up and opening the bottom so I could just lift the box up and free the TV. Not sure if I was just too excited and couldn't read instructions properly. :P

If you end up using it via the PC/gsync, you probably need the firmware update. Use this website even if you are just going to console game - just for peace of mind:

The pendulum demo is a good quick test that it's working:

https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/community/demos/

And don't be a dummy like me, when you first search for the 4k resolutions, realize that you need to scroll down a lot to reach the higher refresh ones even though you'll see some that you think should work at the top.

Anyhow, ENJOY!!
Thanks again Chem!

I'm ridiculously pleased with the 48" so far. Excited to hook up the PS5 and Series X to it (hopefully this week...c'mon BestBuy/EB!)

I’m now at scheduled delivery November 12 by 5 pm. Definitely hoping that it moves faster than that however the Microsoft store has always been great before so maybe COVID and border etc. It’s odd that they wouldn’t have them all clear customs last week and just have them chilling in Toronto and Vancouver hubs to ensure delivery.

I’m not mad about it at all but just curious. I also thought that they would want to have them done before the PS5s enter the system.

So what's the deal tomorrow? Will retailers have Series X in store or online only? I'm hearing conflicting things. Ideally I would get one in store from EBgames as I have some store credit to use but I will order one if I have to.

I just received the same update. For all we know it could go a lot faster but we also have a stat. holiday thrown into the mix. Given the speed at which things are going plus that, the 12th sounds pretty reasonable.

With that being said, the status update is "Shipment information sent to FedEx" which is typically the first status you usually get...not something after the thing is moving. Again, this makes it seem that the consoles shipped in big quantities and are now probably somewhere local and then getting dished out from that local distribution point.

I also have no idea what I'm taking about - these are just guesses to make me feel better.

Need to figure out how to get rid of my Xbox One X now.

I imagine there should be some stock in stores. Sony is the only company that said there will not be stock available in stores and all availability will be online only.

Still nothing from Walmart on my Series S. :/

Hopefully Best Buy is better and gets the PS5 out tomorrow. Could have both show up on the same day, that'd be fun.

Just got the shipping notice on my Series S from BestBuy, estimated delivery Nov 16th on BestBuys site, Canada Post says 13th.

First world problem really. But I’m still gonna be grouchy about it.

Naw, seriously. Nothing in the Thunderdome is worth in-person chasing with a global pandemic on. There will be plenty of opportunities online from here til the next generation 7 years from now (and this Black Friday)
