Losing the ball in the roof of this trash heap stadium is somewhat acceptable.
The pathetic effort to get to the ball afterwards is inexcusable.

Second and third with no outs, nothing to show for it. It's been that kind of season.

Just a team where the pitching is by and large mediocre and the hitters are mostly pitiful at hitting.

C'mon Jays. Do something to prove that you're not this pitiful at hitting baseballs.

5700 announced attendance tonight. Very reminiscent of the Expos last years. Wonder how long MLB will put up with this.

For a good team like Tampa Bay that has to be concerning for the MLB.
Losses starting to really pile up for the Jays.

Luckily the Jays have a bunch of hitters in AA and A+ with strong WRC+ numbers. A few of them are likely to develop into MLB contributors over the next couple seasons I imagine.

If they ever could get a downtown stadium in Montreal, there would be a lot more people at those games than they'll ever draw in that shat can in Tampa....Than again, a parking lot in Boise Idaho probably draws more people than that.
The Rays are a smartly managed organization but their stadium and attendance are embarassing.

This is why i don't understand why people want to bring them back. Throw in the currency issue and doesn't make sense to me.

Even with a horrible record in the last 27 games, Jays are not even last in their own division
Go figure....

Another embarrassing crowd in Tampa. Funny how the lack of ambient crowd noise is making the crack of the bat and the sounds of the game different.

Anyone catch that catch by Davis in CF? Holy he looked like Kevin Pillar there. Great catch.

There's no point in the video review. Safe.........called out. Might as well just get rid of it.

The Expos can come back in a different stadium and sans Jeffrey ####ing Loria, the worst owner since Charles Comiskey.
It absolutely makes sense to bring the Expos back. Especially if they can keep them in the AL East. It never made sense to have Toronto and Montreal in separate leagues.

Alford's May numbers at the plate:
.292 .376 .449 .826
I'd sure like to see him with the Jays for the rest of this season where wins/losses don't matter too much. This is a good time to find out if he can cut it in MLB.

The Jays are very very bad:

Their offence isn’t just weak — it’s on pace to post the lowest on-base percentage by any team in 50 years.

Sportsnet certainly has not been very charitable to the Jays management team lately, and rightfully so this team is about as close to unwatchable as it gets.

Just imagine if they trade away Smoak, Stroman, Sanchez and Giles.

Ugh. No thanks.
I can’t see this rebuild happening in under 5 years the way things seem to be trending.
