The Flames have puck repellent on their sticks?

I get ####ting on players when they play bad, but you can't just look at the 4 spot as an excuse to crucify Rittich tonight. The goals have all either been high percentage chances or straight out puck luck.

The bottom 2 lines should be hitting everyone in sight.

Instead they are playing like a bunch of wilting lillies.

4 - 0 when I turn on the TV. Gosh I hope we do not start to see the real Flames team coming out to play in early March

We can't keep playing hot goalies. Maybe we are just making goalies look like they're hot with our lack of finish.

I thought they'd be the difference. I was incorrect.

Line three has been the only good one tonight. The other three have been terrible.

The Leafs are known for not liking a physical game. It throws them right off. It's why they are so afraid of the Bruins.

If they manage to put one or two or three of the many chances away, and are within two with 15 mins to go in the game, it's going to OT.

That's the difference from the Flames lighting up the scoreboard, and having the games they've had of late.

They're not hitting, but they're playing tough minutes and grinding it out in the leafs zone. The leafs defense isn't good enough to sustain itself against that kind of pressure.
I'll take more of that over hitting.

Flames scoring has really dried up since the all-star break. They've had chances like always, but the lack of finish against a high powered team like the Leafs is especially frustrating. Score says 4-0... one of the skate, a weird lob shot, and the Flames missing everything... the game is closer than the score, but the Leafs can just shut it down now.

We aren’t built like the Bruins. We have 3 physical forwards and 2 physical defensemen

Ryan and Czarnik can throw as many hits as they want, it won’t change much
