Go to any other team's game thread and you will see the exact same kind of complaining about the refs. There is no bias or conspiracy. The worst you can say is that they can be wildly inconsistent at times.

There were about 8 penalties there. I can't believe it took that long for the ref to get the arm up.

Rittich has easily earned a pass for a bad one. Boys will get it back.

Probably because rittich called to take it as he skated super out of his net

This doesn't make any sense. Smith is the best puck handling goalie in the league. Of all the things Rittich could learn from Smith it's that.

Well, the super bad giveaway had something to do with it. Rittich had three other options at least.

Dammit! This is completely Smith’s fault for introducing “goalie playing puck” into our game plan.

So Rittich is completely lights out, but gets beat by one freak deflection and a terrible attempt to play the puck. That's just sad.

Smith has been bad at stopping pucks he should .

However, I can say with certainty he is the best puck moving goalie ever.

Yes but it's still another game where a Flames goaltender lets in a soft goal. It's getting old.

Thats on Gaudreau. He now has a reputation as a whiner in the league and the refs dont always take him serious.

Smith has always played the puck to much and takes huge risks to do so.
