JT Schmid's across the street is a decent hangout, and it's usually rammed with Flames fans during playoffs.

These playoffs have tapped out my "responsible adult" disposable income, so I won't be going to game 5. But a time may come where I do the irresponsible thing and come out to a few more games ha!

Bouma's almost back!

Derek Wills ‏@Fan960Wills 1m1 minute ago
#Flames Lance Bouma is wearing a white jersey. The extra players all appear to be wearing green jerseys. Read into that what you will.

You've got those backwards. 6 or 7 pm Pacific means either a 7 or 8 pm Calgary start.

I cannot wait to watch Toews & Kane vs Getzlaf & Perry. That will be great hockey and fun to watch. #NHL

Toews and Kane vs Monahan and Gaudreau is an interesting story line as well. I tend to think the Flames duo is very similar to the Chicago duo and hope the Flames players can have similar career paths as the Hawks

Yeah but we have Bennett, who is their comparable? Calgary's forward crew is actually getting very interesting. It will soon be very difficult for merely serviceable players to make the lineup.

And that's why I think the Flames are going to win the Stanley Cup next season. Seriously.

They do have a hof winger in Hossa and Sharp is no slouch either.

Hossa has been the guy they have that lots of other teams don't.

In addition to Sharp, Saad has been a real find.

They don't have a Bennett comparable but they did have Buff and Ladd as well as Hossa, and were able to replace Ladd with Saad and Buff with Bickell.

For the Flames though it will be interesting to see if Colborne, Backlund, Jooris, Bouma are able to keep developing as they are all in that prime 24-30 age range while our true stars are 18-21.

I really think the Flames rebuild is going to be similar to Chicagos

this is awesome. Remember in 2005 when the flames faced the ducks and the hype machine was drooling at the 2nd round BOA before the flames/ducks had even completed? Here's to having things playout just like that this year!

Skill players vs. whiners in that scenario. I would definitely be pulling for the Hawks.
