Did anyone see the dude with the black helmet sitting on the Western Highschool fence with a shirt saying "Just a guy watching idiots doing their thing" or something similar. I thought it was hilarious.

That must be snowcat (or whatever he goes by) from YouTube. He posts a lot of rage induced bad Calgary driver videos.
Was out there after the game on Saturday. Didn't see any harassment of woman specifically but did see a lot of trouble makers looking to stir up some trouble.
The GF and I stayed for a while then got too cold and left haha.
Was out after the game Saturday and had a great time. Never saw anything even remotely troublesome in over an hour. Nothing but a whole lot of happy people having a great time.
Did see a lot of freezing cold young ladies with no where near enough clothing on though.

Those are awful sports pubs. As in, they have crap TVs and no one who cares about hockey would watch a game there. Jamesons/BP/Watchmans/Roosevelt is where its at.

Only due to geography.
People start walking east from The Pint, Jamesons etc... and west from the game and they meet in the middle.
Yea I didn't see anything out of line when I was down there on Saturday night.... gave lots of high fives, ate some delicious poutine and had some shots of jager from a buddies flask.
Good times!

Really, the party should be moving to Stephen Ave.
- More bars/pubs that are in closer proximity.
- Can actually walk on the street.
- Flames Central is there (you'd think there'd be more of a push from the org to get people there).
- Just a nicer/more vibrant area in general.

To be fair... no one is actually inside. Even the cops there just stand on top of the patio tables.

Solid idea. Original Red Mile (ORM) just kind of happened on 17th, thx to Melrose. New Red Mile (NRM) is less organic, so why not plan it more? Stephen Ave also has fewer apartments/condos in the immediate area, so less concern with noise. Also, some big screens in Olympic Plaza would be awesome for fans who want the experience of cheering together, but can't get in to the 'Dome or don't want to go to a bar. It's also just a short LRT hop from the 'Dome.
Its been said before but if they (the city, the cops, the organization) wants to move people to Stephen Ave then they need to give people a good reason to do so.
Throwing the game up on a big screen in Olympic Plaza is a good start.
