Would also love a clip of Ferland absolutely destroy Nolan.
That was the pushback the team needed.
Ferland also made an amazing pass I believe towards the start of the 2nd that almost ended up in a breakaway, but it was amazing because it got Calgary a line change and prevented the kings counter attack by getting it out of the zone/dangerous area.
Ferland is a player for sure.
I think Ferland is going to be a very important player during the playoffs.
He brought his game up to a different level last night.
Well he totally missed the first goal on Tuesday, he owed us.
In other news, I put myself in the dark room at lunch to try relieve my concussion like symptoms from my hangover, and noticed my ears are still ringing. Awesome. Good work Dome.

I am taking Engeland as my playoff performer. I have been critical of him all year and with the added minutes, he is really starting to remind me of a Regher from old.
Any altercation near our crease last night and the guy had a look in his eye that would make Grats proud!

Saw this video from twitter last night. It makes me so happy watching Wideman and Russel come flying up the ice from the defensive zone when Hudler scored!!

(don't know how to embed twitter videos, sorry...)
Man, I seriously envy all of you fans who were there to witness that live. So exciting just watching a video of it, even though I'm sure the video doesn't do it justice.
Re-watching this like 20 times, and haven't seen it talked about at all so far.. Monahan didn't even need to pass to Hudler. He had a clearer path to skate to centre and shoot, but decided to give it up anyways.. that's pretty cool.

Thought the same thing. For an empty-netter, it was a thing of beauty how they moved that puck around.

From HFBoard oiler fan, in analyzing MacT's management:
O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.
Oh my god, Raymond was HORRIBLE offensively. I have no idea how he has a steady spot in this lineup.
But today is a happy day. More on Raymond in the future.
Thank goodness you're not the coach.
Raymond has played the game he has been asked to play. Period. Under "earned, not given" that is for sure. If he didn't play how and where he was asked to, he wouldn't be on the ice.
So, stick to armchair coaching eh? Be happy for the guy and his contributions to the team - because each and every player is a cog in something bigger and each is doing his part. Including Raymond.

It gives a pretty good sense of the noise and pandemonium. Last time I felt that in the dome was '04 Game 6 vs Detroit. That was a step above this.
