I currently have 5 on order from China. Should arrive by the end of the month or early November. I have a friend who used the model I bought and claimed it was nearly impossible to even notice.

So far I'm blown away with it. Obviously not DSLR quality, but it's getting closer and closer. The 4S still has a good camera, but you should be a 7 on the jealousy scale.

I took some photos of my kids (4&2) this morning at breakfast under dimmer-than-ideal lighting and the results were pretty amazing. I'll still be busting out the Canon for special occasions, but for quick family moments it's a gold mine.

My next goal is to take some video. It's something I've never gotten into but the slo mo lookd outstanding. Now that I have a phone capable of running iMovie it might be fun to do some little projects on it. Hell, you can even score it with Garageband.

A 7 eh? Well that's not worth selling the family heirlooms for. Guess I'll stay put with my peasant phone for a while yet.

I have a 1020 and I would still say no if you asked me that. Unless you only have a DSLR because you wanted a really really good point-and-shoot camera and aren't looking for professional quality stuff, in which case, sure, why not.

Work gave us 6+'s or 6's and after a week with the 6+ i switched to the 6 and I am infinitely happier with the 6. Extremely manageable with one hand and the battery life lasts a full day, yes the 6+ battery was better but I charge my work phone every night no matter what so a day is all I ever need.

My personal phone is a OPO so I am used to large phones so its not a small hand thing. To me the 6+ bezel is just too big.
Different strokes for different folks.

Just came here to post about this- they crack way too easily. I purchased one 2 weeks ago for $50 and it cracked on the smallest of drops- I guess that's kind of the point, but I had a standard plastic one on my iPhone 5 for two years ($15), and when I finally took it off, the display still looked flawless- despite being dropped an endless number of times.

$50? I have a Nillkin that cost me $13.99 and it's taken a beating.

Then again, I don't drop my phone.

Here's a link for the Nillkin glass for the iPhone 6: http://www.amazon.ca/Nillkin-Anti-Ex...llkin+iphone+6

I've had my 6+ for about a week so far and I've been really happy with it. I upgraded from a 4 and I have a 5 for work. I was very concerned about the size, but as others have said, I wouldn't be able to go back to a smaller phone now. Battery has been great and gave the camera for a good workout in Vegas this weekend and it really is a step up from the 5.

For the iPhone 6 I've read that the screen protectors are really narrow, the curve on the glass begins basically right where the LCD ends, so I've read installing them is a bit of a pain as you have to get it perfect.

I need a better screen protector for sure. I grabbed the only kind they had available at bell in red deer on launch day. It had a neat little jig they used to apply it perfectly, but there is approximately 2mm around the entire outside of the phone that isn't covered, and has already begun collecting dust, giving my phone a rather unappealing look.

Recommendation?

Ya, the only screen protector Best Buy and Future Shop was carrying was this ridiculous $50 glass one- and no additional ones included in the box. Picked up my phone at Rogers, but the company they go to for screen protectors apparently had to recall them because of slightly off dimensions... oops. Will see what the Apple store has today.

The drop was only a few feet... cracked the cover, but the display is fine.

Do you keep your phone in the same pocket as your keys? If the answer is no, the screen will likely hold up fine without one if you're worried about it looking unappealing.

I believed this until I took a giant gouge out of my 4S about 3 weeks after purchase. I can't even figure out what I did as I'm generally over-protective. The only thing I can come up with is a zipper on a hoodie I was using. Regardless, it's glass screen protector time for me. I talked to a guy who swore by some cheap Chinese screens off Ebay, so I ordered a few. Likely garbage, but we'll see (currently shipping).

After weeks of checking sites that continually updated store's availability I broke down and just ordered one from Apple online. Now Im hoping the 4-6 week time they quoted is a safe estimate and it comes in 2 weeks haha!

Does anyone know if one comes available at Chinook or Market mall can I buy it and cancel the order from Apple.com?

I believe until it ships you should be ok to cancel.

I reserved the iPhone 6+ 128 GB through the Rogers website the morning of reservations starting. I'm still in line, and last email I got was saying I was 216 in line. Extremely disappointed it's taken this long. I should have gone directly through the Apple store instead as a coworker received his the first day and placed an order the same time as I did.

iPhone 6 glass breaks easily. Shattered my entire screen yesterday with a drop of approximately 6 inches.
