Bow Tie Pizza is great. I used to despise Hawaiian pizza, but we get their Hawaiian with spicy sauce and add spicy salami and it's just about the best pizza I've ever had. I still hate regular Hawaiian, you need some spice to counter the sweetness of the pineapple.

I am sure this has been said in this forum, honestly don't want to go back 30 pages to check, Niko's pizza is the bomb. I love the amount of cheese.
If you want a good laugh, some people think he is kind've of a tool, although Dave Portnoy's one bite pizza reviews are hilarious. There is an app with a few reviews in Calgary

I wanted to try out Pizza Box in my area today. Heard great reviews about the place.
Go to order the pizza online, they send me a password and it does not work.
Annoyed. Their own password does not work for online ordering?
So I go old school and call them. The phone rang for 3 minutes with no answer.
So Domino’s pizza it is tonight! Not great pizza but as others have stated they have improved a lot. Trust me, they have improved a lot! Still garbage pizza, but in the garbage pizza field they are really good now.
Thanks to the poster about Flames pizza and wings. Pricing looks amazing. I will give them a try for sure.

Using their website through iPhone isn’t great but I think I MacGiver’d it through incognito mode to get it to work and save login details. The site has worked flawlessly after some self troubleshooting. (Try chrome perhaps?)
Sucks they didn’t pick up the phone but it’s a hidden gem in north central calgary. Give them another shot - They are Seniores level of tastiness for north end pizza.
They were also advertising $10 select medium pizzas Monday- Wednesday. Hawaiian, pepperoni and something else.

Another +1 to Bowtie pizza.
You can just taste the quality of the ingredients they put it. But a touch greasier than I expected, but an excellent pie overall.

I see a lot of positive reviews for Bowtie. I'd like to try it but it seems insanely expensive at $30 for a 14" pizza. Do you feel like you're getting good value with the improved quality over a chain place?

Does Bow Tie deliver well in terms of retaining its quality during transit?

There's certainly better value to be had in terms of price, but with pizza I'm almost always willing to pay for the added quality. Not something I would get in the habit of ordering frequently, but I don't mind the price.

Can't speak to that as I live quite close to their original location so I never have to travel too far with it. It retains the quality well when re-heated though .

I’ve only done carry out and it was excellent.
I imagine If a delivery guy has an insulated pizza carrier you are probably safe.

I don't know, some pizzas just taste way worse after a certain amount of time out of the oven, regardless of how warm they were kept.

Yeah, it's not about them still being warm, it's that some pizzas get significantly worse after they've been steaming themselves in a delivery box and insulated bag.
Some stand up to it, some don't, $30 is a decent sized gamble on a pizza to find out.

As far as I know they only have take-out. Everybody who is raving about it will have had the same take-out / delivery experience, I assume.

Cmon guys, preheat that pizza stone and you’ll have fully restored slices in 5 minutes. Don’t rely on the structural resilience of a pie in transit.

That 14" pizza will feed about 3-4 people, that's about $7.50-$10/person, so it's still pretty cheap for take out. I consider it a significant upgrade on chain pizza and well worth the premium.
Also, their dipping sauces are great, I'm a big fan of the chipotle.

Every pizza is a personal pizza if you try hard enough.

Had PZA again for the first time in a year or two.
I remembered it being quite good, but I wasn't super impressed this time around.
