Hopefully lesson learned. Raps let up and Brooklyn dropped 44 in the fourth quarter.

I have never felt so pissed about a win.

That was a crazy fun game to watch. A 26 point lead is the worst lead in Basketball. Death to the Nets!! Go Raptors!

It's unfortunate the Raps weren't smart about making the smart shots in that 3rd and 4th, but I guess a win's a win. Winning in Brooklyn's gonna be tough with the reffing.

The reffing has been fine the last few games. Sure there have been bad calls both ways, but nothing outrageously in favor of either team imo.

One of the most intense sports games I've watched in years. Wow, what a game.

It warms my heart to see Jonas making KG his bitch to the point where they can't even play KG anymore. Jonas knows he can't be touched right now and is beasting. They should have just went to work with him late in the third/early in the 4th.

The whistle had gone at that point. I think they were just reviewing to see if there was any time left when Williams touched the ball in the back court.

I didn't get home until after 7pm tonight so I missed the 3 quarters of the game. That was nuts... i heard they were ahead by 26 then almost lost the game? Last season I didn't Kyle Lowry is the right point guard for this team and I never thought he won't improve at all. I have to admit I was wrong. Lowry been playing awesome this season. DeRozan was pretty much the go-to guy in this team and was surprised he wasn't really involved much early in the 4th quarter. I still think Vasquez is a good player when he's not forcing the play...When he does, he tends to throw the ball away. I sure hope they finish Brooklyn off next game. Weird that Jason Kidd benched Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett in the 4th.

Exactly. Wouldn't it be a dead ball and not even reviewable?

The whistle was blown for back court violation. So even if the ball was tipped by TO, the Nets will only get the ball back with 1 second left. The shot would not have been counted because the play had blown dead already. That's my understanding.

Weird game but in the playoffs a win is a win. If it were a regular season game it would a case for some concern. Blowing a huge lead is not a good thing. But it's kinda par for the course in the NBA and in sports in general. The big lead usually leads to sitting back and taking it easy at which point the other team grabs the momentum and away they go.

I'm looking at this series entirely as it relates to next year and beyond. Even if they win this series they are going nowhere against the Heat. So it's really all about gaining experience. So they did learn how to recover from almost throwing a game away last night. Plus dealing with pressure and a large noisy crowd. Now can they learn to close out a series. Invaluable stuff for a young team with some upside.

If it plays out that ATL beats IND and the Raps pull it out, we'd be facing the Wizards next round, no?

That would be an outstanding series and definitely winnable for the Raps.

The NBA doesn't re-seed. We're playing the Heat no matter what happens in the other series.

so the Wizards who finished 5th get the "easier" team which finished 8th. why would they allow that? kind of takes some of the benefit of finishing higher in the standings away doesn't it?

They do it so they can start second round games before all the first round games are finished but I agree that they should re-seed.

Not only that, but they'd get home court advantage and we wouldn't, despite finishing higher then them and winning our division.

The lousy way the Nets had played in the playoff, the Raptors will be a tougher out for the Heat. The Raps have Jonas in the low block which will be tough for the Heat to match up. But neither teams are going to beat the Heat.
