Too many conflicting reports coming out of Bilbao/Manchester to really know what truly happened.

With the way that Bilbao has held onto players who wanted transfers out in the past, I would not at all be surprised if the rumors that they declined to accept Manchester's offer of the buyout clause are true.

Help me with a Champions league pool... there are 6 of us, each picking 2 teams.

I select Second overall. Who should i take with that pick and who may suprise with me having the 11 pick too ?

Munich first for sure i think ?

Thanks

Bayern are actually the favourites to win the Champions League, not Barcelona, so yes, you should definitely take them if the guy with the first pick takes Barca.

1 Bayern Munich
2 Barcelona
3 Real Madrid
4 Chelsea
5 Manchester United
6 Manchester City
7 Juventus
8 PSG
9 Borussia Dortmund
10 Arsenal
11 Napoli
12 AC Milan

sites like pinnacle and betfair are a great way to research stuff like this

Sorry Diane, not as perfectly loyal as originally thought. Champions League wouldn't have kept him.

I have no problem with it, hope he does really well

it's been a win (for Spurs to bring in more talent) win (for RM to get who they wanted) and Bale (he always wanted to join RM)

his agents are scum but no issues with him

Yep, Xabi Alsonso feeding Bale & Ronaldo, is going to be a spectacle.

Not sure where to put this. The Zlatan wrote an autobiography and had some interesting anecdotes about his time at Barca and Pep Guardiola. Anyway here are some fake excerpts from an non-existent book:

Quote:
Zlatan on… being part of a team
“Obviously you cannot have 11 Zlatans on a team (although I understand scientists are working on it with cloning technology). So in the meantime, it’s important that everyone knows his role: supporting the Zlatan and making him look good.”
...
Zlatan on… God
“He’s been a big influence on me. And I know he’d say the same vice versa.”

I'm in the middle of a project at home, if hes interested he can come to my place and watch the paint dry. He wont even be able to tell the difference, guaranteed!
