Flames are being badly out played by a team who played the night before. (Again.) Looks like only a few flames showed up tonight 1 of them being Macdonald. Not sure if this team can turn it around. Maybe we need a long losing streak for some heads to start rolling. I might be one of the few but I'd like to see feaster gone and some one else to take over to start rebuilding. It just seems its the same old song and dance with this team and there lack luster efforts. Its pretty frustrating to watch night in and night out.

I don't think they look awful;. They are playing the typical road forechecking game and they've created good chances. 23 shots already.

Ignore the standings.. Kings just starting to come around and will show their class.
If the Flames were playing like this against the Oilers, I'd be furious!

True....but they really miss Greene and Mitchell on backline. 2 very stabilizing influences.

And those losers somehow beat the Flames a couple weeks ago.

I will say that Iginla is playing his best game of the season and has been far and away the best Flame.

Are they losing? Chance they could get at least a point tonight which will help in the McKinnon sweepstakes.

I always find it humorous to read posts about management that make the assumption that they aren't even trying to find an appropriate solution to the center problem.
I get harping on Feaster and Co. for not delivering, but to chastise them for not making an effort is completely speculative remarkably frustrating.

Is anyone else starting to feel a little bit sad that Montreal has our 2nd round pick right about now?

That's one way to look at it, but they've had what, 14 years to find a franchise center to play with Iggy? Sure Feaster can't be blamed for that, but his moves don't even hint at trying to address our lack of down the middle talent.

Really dont think he had the contacts in the league that he can work with/trust him to be able to pull off deals. There's a reason no one wanted him for 3 years+ after leaving Tampa. His trade deadlines have consisted of Modin and resigning Jackman. Cammalleri, his biggest trade, fell into his lap thanks to Cammaleri's attitude in Montreal.
Sutter had the contacts, had the ability to close a deal. And quietly, not a bunch of bluster and "openness".
Feaster can talk up FA's and is a good speaker, but not that greatest 'doer' when it comes to pulling the trigger, and that's clear. He hasn't rolled it out in just under a year, but as the heat builds if he can't pull something togeher, I fully expect a reference to the mess that Darryl left him, over 2 years ago as a crutch which is past its expiry date.
He's got the chance now to get back to redeeming himself and shore up the woeful center position, and may have to figure out the goalie situation further if Kiprusoff is out longer then another week or so.

That's about all he's done this season. Need more from him, I watched him in Montreal a few times and of course in the playoffs, he was a much more determined player.

I get what you're saying, but the organization has had 17+ years to fix it and...
