Guess who is going to the French Open

Just one match in the Quarters so far. Kinda lame how they split it up by individual matches but I'll take it. Hoping I can snag one more QF match but it's all up to whats posted on the ticket exchange.

Wow just like that, up a break... 2-0 very quickly. Didn't lose a point on Nadal's serve edit and lost it back immediately

Nadal was really firing on all cylinders today, especially in that second set.

Looks like clay season is making us forget about our boy Milos.

He beat Davydenko and is off to play Verdasco. He should be able to get out of it they sit at career series 2-2

lucky, this year looks to be the one where something special (tm) happens. also because they're doing Nadal's rank by the seed, you might end up watching him play Fed, Djoker or Andy. heck if I were you I'd try to snag all 4 quarters, then you're guaranteed to see two heavyweights that would normally be in a semi or a final.

post lots of pics too...

Lovely setting Roland Garros. If the sun is shining it'll be glorious viewing.

Take your own food and drink (non-alcoholic), they'll let you. It is very expensive to purchase anything there.

The thing that irritated me the most was how disruptive the crowd was. Talking through serves, whistling at inappropriate times, screaming children being loudly scolded by their parents, moving through aisles and seats during points - all things that you should never see at a Grand Slam tournament. In a 3hr match on Phillippe Chatrier court, I probably heard the umpire say "Silence s'il vous plait" probably 25 times to the crowd.

US Open crowds have the reputation for being overly boisterous, but it is nothing like the crowds at the French.

Having said that, it is a spectacle to behold and a lovely setting.

Have fun.

And another second round exit from Milos. Lost in a tie breaker in the third set after being up 4-1. He has to find a way to play more consistent.

Milos and his coach, Galo Blanco, have parted ways. Blanco really helped Milos become a top 15/20 player.

Austin Nunn ‏@Austin_Nunn 1h
Can confirm that Milos and Galo have ended their coaching relationship. Statement to follow.

Austin Nunn ‏@Austin_Nunn 1h
"I'm very grateful for everything Galo has done with me and my tennis. He helped me grow as a tennis player and as a person...(1)

Austin Nunn ‏@Austin_Nunn 1h
..I wouldn't be where I am without him. We decided mutually its time to move in a different coaching direction and I wish him all the best"

if this were grass or a fast indoor court it might have a chance at being interesting. Unfortunately I'm gonna have to predict a 6-3 6-2 style laugher in favor of the Spanish Clay Golem.

I managed to snag another match

God, if I got to see Roanic play his first major quarter final I'd lose my sh*t!

He dismantled him.

In other news, finding a bar with that match on in Poland is impossible.

most importantly, today's win puts Nadal into 4th in the world so the French Open draw will be normal. The Big 4 are once again the Big 4.
