And like you said...how can it be policy when he doesnt really have any? I can only go off what he says and what he means when he says things.
he is a seperatist in liberal clothing IMO and its reflected in his repeated demagoguery.
Sorry, I dont think that those kind of people are suited for being the PM of canada.

Someone here can't follow along, but it isn't me.
How many times have various posters in this very thread carefully explained to you that Trudeau's comment
was not pandering to Quebec? He was asked a question regarding whether or not he supported an elected senate. He said the following:
1. Senate seats are not distributed fairly
2. An elected senate would gain more legitimacy and thus have more power
3. This is to "our" (meaning the citizens of Quebec, as he was speaking to a Quebec journalist) advantage
4.
Despite it being to Quebec's advange, he is against an elected senate because it would be unfair to Alberta and BC, two provinces who are currently under-represented in the upper chamber
If you had taken the time to research the full story instead of only reading a single line without the full context, you'd have realized what a non-issue this is and that he was actually taking a pro-Alberta and BC stance by opposing an elected senate without re-proportioning the seats.
