Kawhi Leonard, Danny Green and Mike Miller are the top 3 candidates to win Finals MVP at the moment. If the Spurs win the series and LeBron doesn't crack 20 points in any game I think Leonard wins by default, that'd be some incredible defensive performance.

Splitter might set a finals record for blocked dunk attempts.
(edit: I mean times that he's been blocked, not times that he's blocked others)

Bosh may as well write his cheque to the league office at half time. He definitely got away with one there.

Series tied 2-2. Wade and James both with great bounce back games. That 3 minute stretch in the 4th by Wade was unreal. Best of 3 series now. With games 6 and 7 in Miami, game 5 is as close to a must win as it gets for the Spurs. Things are looking good for the Heat right now.

Nice job by Lebron to bounce back from that poor game. Have a feeling the Heat are going to take it all now.

I say the Heat will win Game 5 in SA. Then the Heat will have their usual let down game at home in Game 6 and come back to win Game 7 at home.

Wow, very scary incident in a Miami restaurant where Heat fans were watching game 4. A restaurant collapsed and people literally crashed in the water. 24 injured, 3 with critical injuries.

Boston and the Clippers about to make a MASSIVE deal!!!??? .
Quote:
Discussions over a blockbuster deal to send Boston Celtics star Kevin Garnett to the Los Angeles Clippers – with Doc Rivers as coach – reached an impasse on Saturday afternoon, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.
The Clippers are willing to part with center DeAndre Jordan and a first-round draft pick for Garnett – and the rights to hire Rivers – but so far have refused to include Boston's desire for point guard Eric Bledsoe into the package, sources said.
Since the February trade deadline, Bledsoe had been a part of talks for Garnett, and more recently, Rivers, but that changed Saturday morning, league sources said. The Clippers were no longer willing to part with Bledsoe, sources told Y! Sports.
If the deal completely falls apart, Celtics management and Rivers are still committed to his return to Boston as coach.
Boston general manager Danny Ainge has requested Bledsoe and a second first-round pick, but all involved believe that Bledsoe's inclusion into the package would get a deal done. Rivers has communicated to Clippers management that they shouldn't include Bledsoe into a package for him because he wants to coach him in Los Angeles, front-office sources said.
Celtics and Clippers management – as well as Rivers – want a finality to these discussions in short order, sources involved told Yahoo! Sports. No one involved has shown an appetite for these talks to linger without resolution.
Garnett, 37, will waive his no-trade clause to leave Boston only if Rivers joins him as coach, sources said. Rivers still needed to talk to Clippers star Chris Paul about his free-agency plans this summer, sources told Yahoo! Sports. It is believed that the arrival of Rivers and Garnett would be the final moves needed to assure Paul to re-signing with the Clippers in July.

Doc Rivers is the right coach for the Clippers and Jordan's contract will soon be regarded as an albatross contract. Are these two factors worth a first round pick?

At this point in their careers, Garnett and Pierce are rentals for a team just wanting to go for it for a year or two. I'm not sure at this stage of their careers many teams are willing to give much more that what the Celtics are being offered for Garnett. I'd say the proposed deal is fair to both sides. I wouldn't call it a blockbuster though.

Assuming the Clippers can deal Bledsoe and Griffin to the Lakers for DH12, the starting lineup for them next year could include KG, Chris Paul, Paul Pierce and Dwight Howard. KG and Pierce are older of course but this is an awesome starting five.

^ Awesome starting 5 for maybe 2 years at most. KG and Pierce will probably retire, Dwight will probably continue to have ego issues and the team will be stuck with his contract. CP and Griffin will continue to be themselves, but I think beyond them in a couple years their team will be in turmoil. Getting these two guys is a very short term solution.

Since when did Gerald Green become good enough to foul on every play and have refs ignore it?
NBA so predictable trying to make story lines with their reffing.

Steph Curry lent his talent to Danny Green for the finals.

What is with this officiating tonight? So pro Heat it is embarassing. The call on Ginobli fighting through a pick where the moving screen leaves Wade wide open was a joke. It was almost reportable that they ounted Wade's shot on it.
Seriously questionable calling
